Makeup Do's and Dont's for School

Hey girls! So today I wanted to talk to you about some do's and don't for school makeup. Typically, you want to keep your makeup for school pretty neutral but there are always fun ways to spice it up! Also, you never want to over do your makeup. Anyways lets get started!!

Do: plan out your makeup routine the night before. I know I alternate between my makeup looks so usually I plan what I'm going to do and set out the products I'm going to use the night before so I'm not rushing in the morning,

Don't:  match your makeup to your clothes. Doing this will make you look like a total newbie in makeup. The farthest you should go in matching is if your wearing cool/black/grey tones where a smoky eye with black/grey/cool colors and if your wearing browns/warms wear a brown/gold/warm eye. Matching your clothes to your eyeshadows sometimes will look really childish. Your makeup should bring out your facial features not emphasize your clothing choices.

Do: make sure to get a lot of sleep. Makeup will always look prettier on a face that's bright, rested, and full of energy.

Don't: cake on layers and layers of makeup for school. Under the school lights, it's really obvious when a girl has a ton of makeup on. And you want your makeup to stay looking nice all day, so keeping it light and natural will look a lot prettier than it being caked on. Like for me, the only face makeup I wear to school is powder and concealer or blush when needed.

Do: pick one facial feature to focus on. School is not the place to wear a dark dramatic smoky eye and a bright lip. If you ar emore dramatic or outgoing with your makeup, pick one day to do a bright lip and a down-stated eye and another day to do a dark smoky eye and a nude lip.

Don't: try and hide your makeup from your parents. I know girls who their parents only let them wear makeup on special occasions, and so they sneak their makeup to school put it on and then take it off before they get home. It's just not worth it, instead try talking to your parents and asking them to consider the idea of letting you wear makeup to school. It's a much better idea than sneaking behind their backs because than, when you're caught, your parents will never trust you and they probably won't ever let you wear makeup again.

My Favorite Fall Trends

hey guys! so I know it's been a while :( I'm so sorrry it's totally not intentional it's just without like pictures i always feel weird. Like I would plan to do hauls or reviews but i don't have any pictures to go with them :( but good news! The itouch 5 is coming out in October and i am most probably getting it! So as soon as I have it there will be more posts with pictures and what not. But until then, you'll have to just bare with me and stay patient :) Anyways lets get started!

• first, all the layers! tights, jackets, scarves, the whole shebang!
• warm pretty colors in everything! the dark reds, warm coppery colors, warm golds, all of those fall colors are just so beautiful and I feel like they flatter everyone! 
• bolder makeup. I love how when it turns from summer to fall people move from wearing no makeup to wearing dark, shimmery, sultry colors! And how you can combine a warm wine-colored lip with a dark shimmery gold it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. along with all these new looks comes a billion and one new tutorials to watch on youtube! Go and check them out there are already soooo many!
• cold weather, now i actually have a love hate relationship with the cold. Like, I would take being cold over being sweaty and oily, but also, i hate being cold. Like it makes me sleepy and hungry. is that weird?? I really don't know.
• BOOTS!!!! Ahhhh i love boots. And you really can only wear them in the cold seasons (minus cowboys boots those can be worn year round) Like I've been counting down the days to break out my UGGs, I've been so excited! Also, I've been looking for a pair of wedged, ankle cut, lace up booties. Preferably in the chestnut-dark brown range? • Along with boots comes socks! I really like how sweater socks look under riding boots with a pair of skinny jeans, so cute!
• loose clothes :) along with the cold, people stop wanting to wear like a much "revealing" clothing, like tanktops, short shorts, that kinda stuff. And because it's just so cold, its nice to just be comfortable and cute :)
• Fall fragrances! It's time to being out all you vanilla and caramel scented perfumes, body washes, lotions, shampoos everything! The warm scents fit in perfectly with the new season.

I'M SO SORRY

okay so I know it's been a while since i posted and i have a totally valid reason!!!

okay so like two or three weeks ago, i went to my friend's, brother's birthday party and i took my ipod. I put it in her room to charge since everybody was outside in the back yard. and that night when we came in i couldnt find it and i just assumed i misplaced it and went to bed. wwe looked for it all day the next day and couldn't find it. So...ya my ipod was stolen :( sucks right? And as some of you know, i use my ipod as my camera. and since i havn't had a camera, i havnt been able to take ANY pictures :( so all of my posts i planned with pictures were canceled becuz i can't take them. alsooooo, i don't know if any of you other bloggers have this problem, but when i'm on google chrome, my dashboard doesn't load all the way, it won't show me my pageviews and stuff, and it won't load the edit page to write posts. so yeah that's been another problem. ALSO i am so swamped from school :( like seriously its ridiculous. but anyways on the bright side, i should be posting sometime soon, no pictures sadly :( but i'll try tp keep posting.
