What's In My Travel Bag?

Heyyyy! So currently I am in Myrtle. So I decided to do a "What's in my travel bag?" since I know I love reading and watching them sooo yeaaa :) Anyways, this is just what I brought with me. Later tonight I'll be uploading a mini haul. And probably a December favorites. And when I get back I'll do a Favorites of 2012. It will be a little late probably on the 6th or 7th just cuz I get back on the 5th I think and I won't have all my makeup to show you guys unless I dig up some old pictures of my favorite stuff :) Either way, the 2012 Favorites will be up either tonight, within the next week, or at the latest by the 7th. Also, my birthday is in two weeks on the 12th and I'm so excited! Hah, I just wanted to share that with someone soooo yeaaa let's get started.

okay, so this is my travel bag. I got it as a gift for cheer and yea it's just a train case with my initials and my school colors. I use it for just more than makeup so ,like, it's not to big.

So this is it open and I took out my little makeup bag with all my brushes just so you could see the stuff. On the top flap, there are little slots that look like they're for makeup brushes but all of my brushes are too long. So I have q-tips, my tooth brush and my tweezers there. In the little pocket next to that I have some pads just in case. The little bag was one I got from Ipsy in a Glam Bag btw.

So I brought both Naked palettes with me. I thought they would be great for traveling and had the perfect mix of warm and cool colors.

So here I have all of my like primer/base kinda stuff. From left to right: depotted NYX jumbo pencil in milk(top), Mac Painterly paintpot (bottom), Urban Decay All Nighter spray (travel sized), under that- Urban Decay Primer Potion, Ahava moisturizer(without spf), Juice Beauty Green Apple moisturizer(with spf), Tarte cheek stain in Flawless.
Brushes from left to right: Retractable kabuki, brow/lash brush and comb, Soho brush from one of the Ipsy bags, a sponge applicator thingy from Ulta, Mac 217, Elf eyeshadow "c" brush, Elf eyelienr brush, Urban Decay brush that came with Naked 2.

Some brushes that weren't in the little bag(dont know why): Soho pencil brush, Elf Studio powder brush

My two Urban Decay 24/7 Pencils in Zero(top) and Perversion (bottom), and my Maybelline line stiletto. I use either Zero or Perversion in my tightline and then the Maybelline in a really thin line close to my lashes only on top. Putting eyeliner on your tightline will make your eyelashes look really full :)

Benifit's They're Real mascara and Urban Decay's Lush Lash mascara. I'll be doing reviews on these soon and maybe (MAYBE) a mascara routine.

.
My Lush It's Raining Men shower gel in the smallest bottle. This stuff smells like vanilla, and caramel, and yumminess

Okay so for some reason Blogger messed this pic up....anyways on the bottom is my Maybelline Fit Me! Powder in 320 Honey Beige. Above that is my Revlon Colorstay foundation in 320 True Beige. weird how they're the same number and almost the same name right?? Totally didn't plan that. Also does anyone have any tips for applying that foundation? I find sometimes I either end up wearing too much o not enough and ugh I really don't want to give up hopes on it cuz so many people like it and I really wanna like it. Anyways above that it my Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic palette which is great and I totally reccomend.

So yea I hope you guys enjoyed!! Please comment down below and leave a link to your "What's in My Travel Bag?" and yeaaa love you guys! Happy New Years!! I should have another post up either tonight or tomorrow so yeaa :) xoxo Kayla

Christmas Haul 2012

Hey guys! I feel like it's been forever since I've posted :( But yea some stuff has been goin on and along with getting ready for Christmas I just havn't been up for posting. So posts may be a little slow for the next few weeks or so because of personal issues so yea. Anyways back on a happier note, I know I always loved seeing what other people got for Christmas and the holidays so I thought I would share that with you guys :) So yea, let's get started!

Okay so I got all these scarves-yes it was on my list :) From left to right: blush colored with gold glittery threading from Khol's I think, a bright
multi-colored plaidish one from somewhere in Italy, a black knit one from Cato, a white knit one from Cato, and I don't know where the purple one is from.
Tall dark brown Cathy Jean riding boots

Minnetonka Moccasins(say that three times fast)- cally slippers in cinnamon

Dark silver sequinned flats from Target

From left to right: silver glitter retractable kabuki, silver filigree-esque earrings, mint chunky pave bracelet, and up top some butterfly bookmarks. Everything was from Marshall's except for the bracelet which was from Khol's.

Vera Wang Princess perfume and Pink Sugar Perfume

I love the bottle its soooo pretty. But can someone tell me if you're supposed to be able to take off the crown thingy? Cuz I have fake nails and so it's nearly impossible to stick my finger down in there to actually spray the perfume. Other than that I love this perfume! It smells like flowers and fruit and vanilla and every like regal or flirty scent you could think of. I literally felt like a princess when I put it on.

Okay this smells like straight sugar. And cookies and vanilla and cotton candy. Pretty much anything sweet in the world. I really really like it. Also, the bottle is so cute!!

Okay from left to right: Benefit's They're Real mascara, Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Flipside, Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Perversion(legit the blackest eyeliner out there), two EOS lip balms and the Dior Addict Lip Glow

Benefit They're Real Mascara.  I think it retails for like 20$

The wand, I'm personally really excited to use this, don't even know why.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On eye pencil in Flipside

Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Perversion

swatches of Perversion and Flipside. Sorry they're kind of blurry my camera wouldn't focus.

Dior Addict Lip Glow- Retails for 30$ I think. And I'm really sorry I didn't take any pictures of the actually lip glow. I don't even know how I did that, but I'll leave a link below so that you can see it and/or buy it :)
http://www.sephora.com/dior-addict-lip-glow-P236816?skuId=1162650

Okay I don't know what happened to my other picture of this....but if you haven't already figured it out, this is the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. From top to bottom its Foxy-matte cream, Half Baked-warm goldish bronze, Bootycall-light shimmery cream kind of like Virgin from the first one, Chopper-a light pinkish champagne-ey copper, Tease-matte mauve,  Snakebite-brownish purple, Suspect-lightish browny-grey, Pistol-grey with sorta purple tones, Verve-light silver, YDK-glittery light brownish copper color, Busted-dark shimmery taupe, and  Creep-matte black.

Urban Decay Lush Lash mascara. Only a travel size.

Comment down below if you've tried it and tell me what you think cuz I've never even heard of it until today :)

I really love this wand for no reason at all.

Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic palette. It's pretty much a kit for brightening and perfect your face.

Comes with: "That Gal"- brightening face primer, a travel of Erase Paste in Medium or No. 2, Boiing in Light and Medium, Eye Bright(like the pencil but in a pan), Lemon-aid a corrective eye primer, and two double sided brushes.

A case for my Kindle. Its just a nice turquoise and it says read all over it. It was from Marshals and yea I thought it was cute.

I got Pitch Perfect-great movie by the way, really funny. And I got Mean Girls which I had just been wanting for a while.

Fuzzy socks and low cut socks.

Yes, I am a Lush junkie so I got my mom to buy me the biggest bottle of Snow Fairy.

Black canvas TOMS :) I was so excited for these.

Okay so I got this sheer loosey white top with silver polka dots. The sleeves are 3/4 length and it's from Target.

Just a pretty mint lace high-low skirt. It was from Charlotte Russe.

A dark silver sequined bodycon skirt. This was from target.

A loose cream colored sweater. It has gold threading in it and it looks really nice on. It was from Macy's.

It's just a brown all over lace top. The sleeves go to about my elbows and it was from Papaya.

A loose floral spaghetti strap top. it has like beading at the top and it was from Khols.

A mint tank top with silver sequins. The fabric is really soft and it was from Charlotte Russe.

A black zip of hoodie from Abercrombie and Fitch. Yea, I lost my navy one, and then when we were in the store looking at this I thought it was navy and then when I opened the present it was black and I was like woah....so yea be careful in that store.

Anyways, that's it for today! I'll try to make outfits with these pieces and post pics. If you have any questions as down below! Or comment a link to your Christmas haul I'd really like to see! Thanks guys xoxo Kayla

Piercings 101

Soooo I'm obsessed with piercings. Which you guys may or may not know but yea I am. And i plan to get many in the future. So this is for people who love piercings just as much as I do or anybody who's curious. It's just going to be a list of types of piercings, where they are, their names, and pictures! So yea let's get started :)

Ear Piercings

  • Lobe- these are your basic piercings. Most girls will have these. I have three going up my ear, with no cartilage so yea. These will also be the part of your ear that you can stretch with gauges.

  • Anti-Tragus- This will be on cartilage so it will hurt more. It's not as common as some of the others.

  • Auricle- I actually didn't know what these were until recently. Its just any piercings on your ear that are on the side of your ear where it's cartilage.

  • Conch- I really don't know how to describe this one except for ow. Cuz it's going through like the middle of your ear and its all cartilage so it's gonna hurt like a b.

  • Daith- This is that piercing that goes on that part of your ear that kind of curls in above your tragus.

  • Industrial- okay so most of you probably already know what this one is or you've seen it before. But anyways its that bar at the top of the ear that connects like a basic cartilage piercing to another piercing on the other side. Theres another version of this one that's the same thing but connected to your rook so that will be the second picture :)

  • Orbital- it's actually just two piercings connected by one piece of jewelry, usually the jewelry is a ring, though. If you have a set of doubles on your lobes than you could even have one with those and it would look really cool!

  • Pinna/Cartilage/Helix- this is another one of those really really common ones. Its just that high "corner" of your ear. It'll most commonly be called a cartilage or helix though.

  • Foward Helix- this is actually one I'm planning on getting in the future! I think they're totally gorgeous. Anyways they're on that little bit of skin right in front of your ear above the tragus and across from the Helix (hense why it's called a forward helix). Usually people will get them in sets of three or sometimes four.

  • Rook- okay when I first saw this one I was super confused because I thought it was just a daith. But it's actually right above the daith so yea be careful with those and don't mix em up :)

  • Snug- I really don't know how to describe this so I'm just going to show you....it can also be called an Anti-helix.

Tragus- this is another one that you here about a lot. I might get one but I'm not totally sure. Its just that little round thing on the front of your ear.

  • Transverse Lobe- it goes through the side of your ear lobe, like instead of front to back, it goes from side to side, so you can see both ends of whatever jewelry you put in it.

  • Verticle Tragus- okay in my opinion this looks just like a double tragus....so yea i don't know, to each his own i guess....

  • Weaving- this is pretty much just a bunch of piercings that are connected by one piece of jewelry that kind of spirals or weaves through them.

Facial Piercings (Excluding Lip and Mouth)

  • Chin Piercing- it's exactly what it sounds like. Personally, I don't like them. And I'm sorry this was the only picture I could find that looked like okay.

  • Cheek Piercings- I call these the dimple piercings :) That's where most people get them, but technically it's anywhere on your cheek.

  • Eyebrow Piercings- well the name is pretty self-explanatory but yes, it's just a piercing through the eyebrow.

  • Anti-Eyebrow- this is under the eye, along the cheek bone.

  • Horizontal Eyebrow- this will just follow the direction of the eyebrow and be flat.

  • Nose Piercing- just your basic nose piercing. Very common.

  • Septum Piercing- this is just a piercing on the bit of skin that separates your nostrils. It's also the same things that cows and bull's have.

  • Austin Bar Piercing- i feel like this must of hurt a lot. It goes through the tip of your nose. It's pretty much the same as the nassaslang.

  • Bridge- its a piercing on the bridge of your nose. I like them on other people but I don't think I'd ever get one. You can also get a verticle one that's called a third eye.

Lip and Mouth Piercings (now these are the fun ones)

  • Standard- it's just a single off center piercing under the lower lip. It's the most popular type of lip piercing.

  • Monroe/Madonna Piercing- it's a single piercing above the lip on the left side. It's called a Monroe because Marilyn Monroe had a beauty mark there and yea. Super cute. A right side one is called a Madonna but if you ask a piercer for a monroe on the right they're not going to correct you or anything.

  • Medusa Piercing- single, centered above the upper lip in the cupid's bow.

  • Labret- single, centered under lips.

Verticle Labret- same thing as labret except the top bit of the piercing actually goes through the bottom lip.

  • Ashley Piercing- like the verticle labret where the top is in the lip except the bottom is inside the mouth. So you only see the top.

  • Jestrum Piercing- it's just a labret in the top lip.

  • Delilah Piercing- it's piercings at the corners of the mouth.

  • Snake Bites- these are really popular and you've probably seen them before.

  • Spider Bites- two standard piercings off center on one side of the mouth. If you have a set on each side of your mouth, then they're called Shark Bites.

  • Angel Bites- snake bites but on the upper lip. They're not quite as popular because they're hard to pull off.

  • Dolphin Bites- like snake bites but closer together on the bottom lip.
(the two smaller balls are dolphin bites the bigger ones are cyber bites)

  • Cyber Bites- its a labret and a medusa combined. So a single centered piercing above the lib and under the lip.

  • Canine Bites- angel bites and snake bites combined so there are four piercings.

  • Smiley Piercing- it's the upper lip frenulum. They're super easy to hide.

  • Frowny Piercing- same thing as the smiley but on the lower lip frenulum.

  • Tounge Piercing- a single piercing vertically through the tongue.

  • Edge Piercings- it's on the edge of your tongue. Also called tongue rim piercings.

  • Tongue Web Piercing- it's the frenulum of your tongue. So that little bit of skin under your tongue that connects your tongue to the bottom of your mouth :)

  • Venom Tongue Piercing- just two off-center piercings on your tongue.

Hand Piercings

  • Hand Web Piercing- Ya know how if you seperate your thumb and pointer finger you have that little flap of skin? Yea, that's your web. So yea, that's where that on is. Technically, you can get it on any of the webs between your fingers but it's most common between your thumb and pointer finger.

  • Finger Ring Piercing- I think these are soooo cute! It's just a dermal or a surface piercing on your finger where a ring would go.

  • Knuckle Piercings- it's exactly what it sounds like. it's a piercing between your knuckles.

Navel Piercings

  • Basic Belly Piercing- you probably have heard of this....or seen it...or have it ;)

  • Lower Navel Piercing- it's just a basic belly piercing but on the bottom part of your belly button. Generally you'll see these with normal ones so its a double.

  • True Navel Piercing- so only people with outies can get this cuz it's actually going through the belly button.

Other Piercings
  • Hip Piercings- it's pretty much self explanatory it's any kind of piercing on your hips so microdermals, dermal anchors, and surface.

  • Uvula Piercing- okay every time I see this i just cringe. BTW your uvula is that little thing that hangs down at the back of your throat. I really don't know how people get this done because I've pretty sure if you touch your uvula you puke or at least gag like crazy....so...I'm not sure.

  • Corset Piercings- I think these are sooooo pretty. But I'd never actually get one. Anyways it's actually multiple piercings that are laced together by ribbon. You can get them pretty much anywhere.

*Bonus* Extreme Piercings!

Okay so that's it! I really hope you liked this and you all learned from this :) I know I learned a bit from this! Comment down below if you have any of these are if you're thinking of getting any of them and yea :) Also I just wanted to put this out there but I got on blogger yesterday and my blog has had 1500 views and..oh my gosh you guys just don't understand how happy that makes me. Like yea, I know my blog definitely isn't one of the most popular out there but I'm so thankful for everyone who reads my posts and and follows them and yea so thanks guys!
